Includes Account Data (name, email), Payment Data, Support Data, and Communication Preferences.
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
Includes Device Data (serial number, IP address), Usage Data (feature usage, clicks), and data from Cookies & Similar Technologies.
2.3 Content Captured by Products
If you deploy FrameZip video products, they may capture video, audio, images, and metadata (”Content”). Such Content may include personal information about individuals recorded in the field of view. You are the data controller for this Content; FrameZip processes it on your behalf solely to provide requested functionality (e.g., live streaming, cloud storage, analytics).
3. How We Use Information
We use information for Provision of Services, Order Fulfillment, Customer Support, Product Improvement, Marketing, Security, and Legal Compliance.
4. Sharing & Disclosure
We may share information with Service Providers, during Business Transfers, for Legal & Safety reasons, or With Your Consent. We do not sell personal information.
5. Customer Responsibilities & Indemnification
When you use the Products to capture, record or otherwise process video, audio, biometric identifiers or any other personal data (“Customer Content”):
1. Controller Role. You are the data controller of Customer Content; FrameZip acts solely as a data processor.
2. Compliance Duties. You represent and warrant that you have provided all required notices (e.g., CCTV signage), obtained all necessary consents, performed any required Data Protection Impact Assessments, and otherwise comply with all applicable laws and industry codes.
3. Indemnity. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless FrameZip, its affiliates, officers, directors and employees from any claim, demand, loss or damage (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to (a) Customer Content; or (b) your non-compliance with applicable privacy or surveillance laws.
6. International Data Transfers
FrameZip is headquartered in the United States. Your information may be transferred to—and processed in—countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction. Where required, we use approved safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or rely on adequacy decisions.
7. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Default retention periods for recorded Content can be configured in your account settings; once expired, footage is permanently deleted or anonymized, subject to backup-cycle delays.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. No security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Privacy Rights

The Products are not for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it without undue delay.
